ACTS Computer College held its annual Senior High School Parents’ Orientation last May 26, 2018 at ACTSCC Lecture Hall. It aimed to inform and to explain to the Senior High School parents the school’s programs, the school rules and regulations, the administrative concerns and the calendar of activities.

The said event started with an opening prayer led by Ms. Marjorie Dauba. A warm opening remarks from the SHS Principal, Dr. Eric P. Castillo, welcomed the parents of the Senior High School students. The first speaker was Ms. Abiekhay Camillee U. Lavastida, one of SHS Faculty, who discussed about the ACTS Computer College’s background, school programs, the Senior High School and voucher programs. She was followed by Mrs. Maricris A. Amoloza, another SHS faculty, who explained the school rules and regulations that must be followed by the incoming Senior High School students. The last speaker was Dr. Eric P. Castillo, who talked about the administrative concerns and the calendar of activities for school year 2018 - 2019. He further explained and highlighted the importance of partnership between the school and the parents for the achievement of the educational goals.

The orientation was divided into four sessions. Parents of the ABM and HUMSS students were the attendees on the morning session and parents of the ICT and GAS students attended the afternoon session. This activity is a manifestation of the parents’ great concerns and love for their children as they participated actively and willingly on this orientation. ACTS Computer College is hoping that this will be a good start on establishing rapport among its stakeholders which will surely contribute to the attainment of the institutional goals.
